While Kicks & Fros celebrates Black women all 365 days of the year, we wanted to take this month to highlight some incredible accomplishments from some of our favorite sneaker Queens.
The love and support received from your girls is unmatched and when you’ve found your person/people it’s truly a blessing. Who else can you call to cry over a bad haircut, complain about the time of the month, vent about your significant other, and ask which kick looks better with your fit all in one phone call?
2022 was clearly here for a good time and not a long time because how is the year almost gone? Hopefully you were able to add some heat to your sneaker closet this year but if not, you will have plenty of opportunities to do so in 2023. The new year is kicking things off with the release of Foamposites, Gazelles, and Jordan 1’s, 5’s, and 7’s just to name a few. You’ll also have the opportunity, yet again, to get your hands on the Panda Dunk Lows which are set to re-release in January as well. As usual, happy shopping and don’t forget to tag us and show us what you picked up!
Haven’t started Christmas shopping yet? Don’t worry K&F has you covered with a holiday gift guide with must-haves from some of your favorite black & women owned brands. Happy shopping!

Kicks & Fros recently teamed up with Artist, Melissa Koby and launched the newSisterhood Collection, a collab that we didn't know we needed. As a community of women who love sneakers, the bonds we have created go beyond what’s on our feet. The Sisterhood Collection represents each of us. We are all on different journeys, but what will always remain true is our power when we come together. Through sisterhood, we can find a support system, deep friendships and the strength to shake the table. Thank you for joining our sisterhood. We’ve got you.
Women are calling for more inclusivity in the sneaker space and Jordan Brand is paying attention!
Through recent collaborations with women like Aleali May and Nina Chanel, and the unveiling of the Women’s Collective, more doors are being opened for women in the sneaker industry. Jordan Brand is taking the brand to the next level and we love to see it! While this is a great time in sneaker history, we do recognize that there is still a long way to go. Friend of K&F, Ticara Devone, sat down with a few sneakHerheads for their take on how Jordan Brand has done this year and what they’re looking forward to in the future.
